My husband and I were recently discussing where we would go on vacation if money was no object. We found this Silversea Cruise which sounds amazing. I've always wanted to visit Australia and the Cook Islands (known for the best beaches in the world). It even crosses the international date line! They even offer a 119 day cruise that literally goes around the world. How awesome would that be? Where would you want to visit on your dream vacation?

Blizzard 2010
On December 11, between 15-20 inches of snow fell over the Twin Cities, southern MN, and Wisconsin. Driving became impossible and almost everyone was snowed-in for the weekend. Sections of both I-90 and I-94 were closed for more than 24 hours due to poor driving conditions. Even the Metrodome where the Vikings play collapsed under the pressure of the snow. MSP Airport also shut down for several hours.
Here are some pictures from around the city:

Vegas Part Deux!
We are planning another trip to Vegas in March 2011 with my best friend Jill and her husband Ryan. We are staying at the Paris Hotel. Look for updates soon! What are your favorite Vegas hot spots??
Viva Las Vegas!
We got a great deal for Vegas and decided to celebrate our birthdays there. We were only born a couple weeks apart, so we headed for the bright lights in September 2010. Steve had been there before, but it was my first time. We mostly walked around the strip like the usual tourists. We did go to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum at the Venetian, TABU nightclub @ MGM Grand, Coyote Ugly, and gambled at several hotels.

Family Reunion: Arkansas
We probably wouldn't have picked Arkansas as a travel spot, but my husband Steve's family lives all over the country. They plan a reunion every 2 years, so in June 2010 we all got together. We made the 12 1/2 hour drive and enjoyed the week with Steve's mom's family. We stayed at 3 Oaks Resort on beautiful Lake Norfork. It's near Mountain Home and only about 30 mins over the Missouri border (a.k.a. hick country).

Honeymoon: Aruba
Since we are from Minnesota, we decided to wait to go on our honeymoon until the winter. We went to Aruba in January 2010 and enjoyed the sun and sand. We stayed at La Cabana Resort on Eagle Beach, which had beautiful views of the ocean. We did a snorkeling/sailing cruise through Pelican Adventures which included a stop at the sunken WWII ship, the Antilla. For a fun night out, definitely do the Kukoo Kunuku party bus. They pick you up at your hotel, feed you dinner, and take you to 3 different bars.
